Weekend Update May 24

Well, it is finally the end of the week. This was a slow stitching week for me. I decided to take a couple days off since I had been stitching like a crazy person for the two weeks prior. This was also the second to last week of school for my oldest DD, Miss Twinkle Toes. We are trying to get all our loose ends tied up so we can both enjoy our summer break. Then Friday night was our women's retreat at church. It was a very nice time. They asked me to share my testimony, so I had to get up and talk in front of the group. It was my first time talking into a microphone!

I did get some stitching done. First up is the nativity wiseman. I am working on his beard and trying to get up to the top to finish his face and hat first.

I also made some progress on Thankful Heart. It is a really quick stitch, I don't know why I have been putting it aside. I would like to finish it in the next week.

Finally, the memorial pattern is coming along. I committed to this project in early May. They typically ask that you finish the project in 6 months, I would like to have it done no later than the end of June, so I will be increasing its rotation.
