New Year Do-Over

2014 was not a good stitching year for me.  I was distracted by several large life decisions last year, including Hubby's potential retirement from the Air Force and looking for a new job, then having our preferred final assignment come through and trying to get out of the retirement queue, then packing and moving across the country with 2 kids, a dog, a cat, and 2 guinea pigs.  Whew!!!  In between all of that, we had a trip to Chicago for Hubby's grandfather's 90th birthday, bought a house, and tried to get some school done.  Anyway, this is the short version of why I ended up with only three finishes last year.

The first two are Christmas ornaments for the kids,  The stitching is done, but the ornaments are not made.  Both patterns were from the Just CrossStitch Christmas Ornaments 2010 issue.

I don't know the name for this pattern.

The last project I finished for 2014 is A New Creation by My Big Toe. This was a UFO (un-finished object) for I don't even remember how long.  The pattern is copyrighted 2007, and I probably got it when it first came out, so that would be more than 6 years.

A New Creation, by My Big Toe Designs,
colors are Riverina, Rose Bay and Dreamtime, by Dinky Dyes.

I started the New Year off with some stitching.  The pattern is Floral Fun #1, by M Designs.  I got it at the store of Mom (stealing from my Mom's stash).

For 2015, my New Year's Resolution is to make time to stitch everyday.  Wish me luck!
