A Completed Goal

Hooray! Hip, Hip, Hooray! I have completed another one of my 2009 Goals. I completed one page of Masquerade. Wow- I am half way done with my goals and it isn't even the end of March yet. In addition to completing two goals this week, I made some progress on a couple smaller pieces that are in rotation. Also, I worked on the angel.

Patriotic block



Patriotic Santa ( I just figured out that I have my Patriotic Santa stitching upside down in the slide show in the side bar- oops!)




As you can see, I got a lot of progress made this week. Next week the public school kids are on spring break, so my girls may be getting a break from school by default. I should be able to get in some good stitching as well.

New Stash

I placed an order with 1-2-3Stitch! and got it yesterday. Joanne does such a good job of getting things in the mail. It only takes 2-3 days to get to Hawaii! Yay! So I have a new patriotic pattern that I will probably be starting very soon.

My stitching week was a little productive. I now have less than 1/4 left of the first page of Masquerade.




Plus I have a new start. I have discovered that the large patterns I am trying to finish do not transport well for working while I am waiting on the kids at gymnastics or at the doctor's office. So I need to have a couple small WIPs to grab on those days.

Weekend Update

This week I had a little stitching time. We are working a new school schedule for the kids, doing school on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with Wednesday being our arts and crafts day. With schedule changes, plus my youngest going to kindergarten two days a week, it has been busy. I made some progress on my angel. I posted about her earlier this week. I also worked on Masquerade. Here is the progress I made.

WIP Update

I am 5 buttons away from my third finish on the year and one of my 2009 goals! Hopefully I will be motivated to get it done this next week. While my in-laws were visiting, I did get some stitching done. This is the update on Masquerade. I am now about 3/4 done with the page I want to complete this year. Sorry it is so wrinkled right now. It just went on an airplane ride.

Masquerade progress

After a not-so-good week for cross stitching, I made some progress yesterday. My goal for this WIP is to finish one page of the pattern (it is 4 pages) this year. I am about half way through the first page now.
