Got another one finished.  This one was very short and sweet, only took about 4 hours total.

New Stitch Project

I decided to switch stitching projects this weekend.  I put away Paisley Pumpkin and started this one.

It is called Welcome Autumn by Olde Colonial Designs.  Pam Reed was our surprise designer at Seaside Stitching last month.  I had never seen any of her patterns before.  I don't usually go in for primitive designs, but I liked this one, and thought it would look good on my sad lonely seasonal shelf.  The words and the bird are all stitched over 1- yikes!

Here is how much I finished by late Sunday afternoon.  Just have to put the center in the flowers now.  I changed the color for the words and the bird.  The design used black, but I decided I liked a spot of color.  Went with purple instead.
