A Quiet Week

Not much to report here. I have been dealing with another sinus infection. It's my second on the year, which is actually outstanding for me. Usually I have 8-10 per year, so to only be on number 2 is doing well. I have not been getting very much stitching done either.

I did get started on a new pattern. Being sick, I wanted something that required very little thinking on my part to be able to stitch- LOL! This is Joy to the World by Twisted Threads.

It is actually supposed to be three colors, WDW Mulberry, WDW Whitewash for all the little snowflakes in the background that you can't see in the picture, and ST Shutter Green. I didn't have enough mulberry to do all the words so I decided to use the green for "to the", and picked WDW Amber for "world". Red, green and gold, those are Christmas colors, right? I have also decided there is no way I am doing all those little one-stitches for the snowflakes all over the background!

Once I have finished this pattern, I will be giving it away. Stay tuned for the give away/ trade post...

And The Winner Is....

Well, using a random number generator, I assigned everyone who said they would like the pattern a random number. I wrote each number on an index card. Then I had Hubby mix the face-down cards on the table and draw one. (All very scientific don't you think?)

So congratulations goes out to Meari! And thanks to everyone who commented on the project.

In answer to a question about it, it came in a kit with the perforated paper and the block. However, you can get perforated paper at 123Stitch, and probably at other shops.
