Number 6 Finish

Here is the finished stocking.

Snowman Stocking by Tricia Wilson Nguyen of Thistle Threads for Redefined, Inc,
stitched on Trinkets perforated paper sewing card,
using DMC floss blanc, 519, 666, 834, 909, 946, and 3371.

I'm not sure how to finish this.  What do you do to put a backing on perforated paper?

  1. Simply adorable. I back mine with felt.

  2. Wonderful finish! I use felt too. They even make self-sticky felt but it doesn't come in a wide variety of colors.

  3. That is really cute - maybe a little bit of felt for backing.

  5. Very cute! I have used an iron on pellon, just to cover the roughness and I've used felt and cut it just a bit larger than the piece and both ways look fine!

  6. Your snowman looks adorable.
    I've only used perforated paper once and don't remember how I finished it off.
