Stitching update

Here are some current WIPs that I have been working on this week.  I am not going to finish anything else before the end of the year and get a running start on next year!
Christmas ornaments for my twin nephews

This is oldest DD's current project.  We also bought a new pattern at the LNS this week.  I am planning to incorporate stitching into our homeschool curriculum.

Finish 24

I think this will be my last finish for the year.  I am planning to get some patterns kitted up for the new year, a year of stash stitching only!

Almost the end of the year!

My stitching has been rather hit or miss this year.  I guess being the director of the on-base homeschool group has taken up more of my time than I thought!

This is the progress I have made on Mill Hill Gingerbread House.  I have been working on this pattern all month.  I think I will put it away for a while.

I have to decide what I am going to work on for 2012.  Maybe a stash only year?  Not sure yet. Of course it wouldn't really be a stash-only year, since Mom buys me stuff!  Also, I am thinking about going on a retreat with Mom next summer, so I would _have_ to buy stuff there....

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  I will be more consistent with stitching and blogging in 2012.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Weekly Update

The kids and I are still visiting my parents on the mainland.  Hubby is taking a class that finishes up on Dec 18, so he won't be back with us for another couple of weeks.

I have made a little progress- a very little progress- on the Eagle Sampler.

I am having trouble motivating myself to work on it.  I guess I am not going to finish all my official goals for the year.  But I think I have made tremendous progress on my stash this year, so I am happy with my work.

My mom has a lot of stitch stash.  So much that she and I will never finish it together in both our lifetimes!  LOL. So while we are staying here, I riffled through her patterns and found one to stitch.  This was started on Thursday.

If I get Itty Bitty done this month, I will have completed 30 stitch projects this year!  Woo Hoo!

Thanks for stopping by my  blog!  I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas season!
